President - Barbara Collins
Barbara has been part of the Boys & Girls Club for over 20 years. Barbara is a Senior Director- Wealth Manager at BNY Mellon where she has been part of the Wealth Management sector since 1990. She has a BA from Skidmore College and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. Barbara and her husband Bill live in Wyckoff, NJ with their two boys.
Chairman- Al Daloisio, Jr.
President and Owner of Railroad Construction Company since 1979, has overseen the growth of the Railroad Construction Company from the time they were operating as a dedicated General and Subcontractor on track projects. Al currently serves as Trustee on several labor boards and industry associations while he also sits on the Board of Eva’s Village (past President) and Oasis, both serving the needs of those enduring hardship in Paterson. His continuing commitment to Habitat for Humanity is another example of his dedication. As a former Patersonian he is a supporter of all programs related to the continuing well-being and education of children and young adults. He lends his support at Garrett Morgan Academy, Paterson and Christ the King (a Cristo Rey School) in Newark. Al and his wife Joanne have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. An alumnus of Villanova University, Al continues to support his alma mater whenever called upon.
Vice President - Richard Mainardi Jr.
Rick Mainardi Jr. graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 1993. A licensed real estate broker in New Jersey, he currently serves as Vice President and Broker of Record for Mainardi Management Company, a commercial real estate company in Wayne. Rick is a second generation board member (his father, Richard Mainardi, Sr., served the Club with distinction for many years) and resides in Oakland with his wife and two sons.
Treasurer - Deborah Brim
Deborah Brim has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager for M&T Bank’s Middle Market Division. Deborah has an MBA and a BS from Seton Hall University. She and her husband, Ed, live in Wayne, NJ, with their two boys.
Secretary - Mark Vertucci
Mark Vertucci is a life-long resident of New Jersey. Mark graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1990. Mark and his wife, Cynthia, currently live in Byram, New Jersey with their two daughters. Mark is responsible for the Engineering and Environmental departments at Soundview Paper (formerly Marcal Paper) in Elmwood Park where he has worked for more than 20 years.
Jerry Behnke has worked in Paterson Public Safety positions for 27 years. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry with an AAS in Health Care Management/Parademics and worked as an EMT in the Paterson Fire Department starting in 1987. In 1996, Mr. Behnke was appointed to the Paterson Police Department as a patrolman until 1998 when he was appointed to the Paterson Fire Department. Currently, the President of the Paterson Firefighters Association, Jerry continues to serve the citizens of Paterson. Jerry is married to his wife Sue and has three sons - Jerry, Jarrett and Jake.
Alan Concha is the Vice President of Eastwick College and the Director of the HoHoKus School of Trade and Technical Sciences, located in Paterson New Jersey. Mr. Concha holds a B.S. degree from Johnson and Wales University. The HoHoKus School of Trade trains students in all areas of the Building Trades, including Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical Repair, HVAC, Welding, Metal Fabrication, and Machine Shop. Mr. Concha has over 20 years in the Private career school business, and prior to that worked for the “New Jersey Devil” hockey team. Mr. Concha is an active member in the Passaic County community and sits as a board member with the Passaic County Workforce Investment Board.
Lourdes Cortez is the President & CEO of North Jersey Federal Credit Union. She started her career in 1984 as a teller and progressed through the ranks as a Financial Service Representative, Mortgage Officer, Loan Department Supervisor and Loan Collections Manager. She was then promoted to Vice President of Operations and in 2004 she became Senior Vice President. In 2005, Lourdes became President & CEO. She was born in Paterson, NJ.
Jaymes has been the TD Bank 21st Avenue Branch Manager since August 2012 and has lent his time and talent to the Planning Committee for our the Gala of Dreams. Prior to working with TD, Jaymes held positions at Wells Fargo and Verizon and is committed to a vibrant community through his involvement with the 21st Avenue Special Improvement District Steering Committee and the Paterson Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from the City College of NY.
Raymond English currently works at AIG and has spent his career in senior technical roles, including Chief Technology Officer, in financial services firms including Munich Re, Shenkman Capital Management, Citigroup and Lehman Brothers as well as in the healthcare field with such firms as Hoffmann La-Roche, Merck-Medco and Corning MetPath.Ray is a graduate of Fairleigh-Dickinson University and currently holds the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) credentials. He lives in Hawthorne and has been a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He has formerly held Board of Director responsibilities in Citigroup/Crossmar and Board of Trustee responsibilities in the Bergen Family Center.
Sidney V. Gold
Sid Gold and his wife Varda have three sons: Ari, Roni, and Adam. The Gold family has lived in Wyckoff, NJ since 1979. As a boy, Sid was a National Science Fair Winner and a member of the Young People's Orchestra. He graduated from City College of New York in 1964 with a B.A. in Economics and Music as well as a B.S. in Micro Biology. Professionally, he served as Senior Vice President, Salomon Brothers, where he was responsible for Equity Option Trading; Managing Director, Phillip Brothers, where he was responsible for commodity Options and Swaps; Managing Director and later President of AIG Trading Corp. G.C.; Founding Member, C.B.O.E.; and President of the Philadelphia Option Advisory Committee. Sid is an active big game fisherman and took 3rd place in the 2006 Big Rock Marlin Tournament.
Mr. Heidtke is the retired Vice President Finance and Corporate Treasurer of Colgate-Palmolive Company where he was responsible for financing policy and all domestic and international treasury matters. He was a director and former chairman of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers and presently serves on the board of the Williams Capital Management Trust. Mr. Heidtke graduated from the University of Minnesota where he also studied at the Graduate School of Business Administration. He resides with his wife Darlene in New York City and Wyckoff, New Jersey which is also the address of The Heidtke Foundation, which he serves as President.
The Reverend Pamela James has served at Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff for two years and is currently the pastor for Christ Church United Methodist in Paterson and Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church in Haledon.
Claudia grew up in Ho-Ho-Kus and currently resides in Westwood. She graduated from Villanova University in 1981. Claudia served as the President and CEO of the Chart Corporation, a manufacturer of flavoring ingredients based in Paterson. She also was Vice President of Naturex. She has served the Boys & Girls Club Board since 1993.
Robert Nixon graduated from Colgate University in 1979. He moved to Wyckoff, NJ in 1994 and recently served as CEO of Patient Care Inc. Prior to that, Bob was President and COO of Gentiva Health Services. Bob currently offers private health care services to the health care industries. Bob is married to Roberta and together they have two sons and two daughters and reside in Wyckoff.
Dennis graduated of Bellarmine College 1971. He has lived in Wyckoff since 1975 and served as Dealer Principal of Mahwah Ford Kia since 1971. Dennis has been a partner in Brookside Racquet and Swim Club since 1986 and a member of Ridgewood Country Club since 1996.
Dr. Dallas Reed
Dallas Reed, PhD, is the Dean of Student Development and Campus Life at Berkeley College and is responsible for all aspects of student life at the New York campuses. Before coming to Berkeley College, Dr. Reed served as Associate Vice President for Student Life at Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS, where she assisted in the management of residential life, career services, counseling, campus safety and student activities, among other responsibilities.She holds a PhD in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS; an MSOL (Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership) from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC; and a BA in General Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Public Relations and Management from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA.
Chris Rosica is president of Rosica Communications and author of two books, The Business of Cause Marketing (Noble Press, 2013) and The Authentic Brand (Noble Press, 2010). Chris co-founded Interact Marketing in 2008. Chris is a frequent keynote speaker and a media trainer who coaches CEOs, salespeople, celebrities and corporate and non-profit executives. He is the past president of the New York City Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO), and serves on several non-profit boards, including Boys & Girls Club of New Jersey and the Salvation Army state board. In 2006, Mr. Rosica completed the "Birthing of Giants" course at MIT, a three-year executive MBA program on entrepreneurship.
Bill Rush is a retired executive from Prudential Financial, an ex-partner at Coopers & Lybrand, and the former President of the Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary. He served as a member Business Advisory Council at Skidmore College. He is on the board of The Boys & Girls Club of New Jersey which coordinates and enhances the activities of all 25 Boys & Girls Clubs in the state. Bill and his wife Carol are residents of Wyckoff and have two daughters and are active members of the Ridgewood Country Club. Bill earned his BS from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1968.
Thomas is the Senior Vice President responsible for Business Banking at PNC Bank in Woodland Park, NJ. He and his group’s Business Banking management responsibilities include geographies in Northern NJ, Northeastern PA, and NYC. Mr. Sebok graduated Montclair State University in 1996. He started his career in the financial services industry in 1995 as a part time sales and service representative while attending college. Prior to joining PNC Bank in 2011 he has held various positions at JP Morgan Chase, and Citigroup throughout the Tri State area. Tom and his wife Renee are residents of Clark, and the proud father of two daughters.
Mr. Shara is President of Lakeland Bank. He was the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for The Mid-Atlantic Region of TD Banknorth, formerly Hudson United Bancorp. Mr. Shara graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University, where he also earned a Masters in Business Administration. Mr. Shara is a member of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Banker’s Association, past President of the Commercial Loan and the Lender Environmental Advisory Committees.
Michael Della Torre
